Thigh Lift
What to Expect

A thigh lipectomy, or thigh lift, is designed to remove excess skin from the inner thighs. A thigh lift is a cosmetic procedure and will not be covered by your insurance company.

This procedure is performed through an incision that begins in the groin and extends along the inner thigh. The incision stops above the knee. This scar is often visible when wearing shorts. Sometimes a drain is placed at each thigh and is often removed 1-2 weeks after surgery. You will be placed in compression wraps to minimize swelling.
