A mastopexy or breast lift, is a procedure to lift the breasts without reducing the size of the breast. In this procedure, there is no removal of breast tissue and the breast cup size will not change.
This procedure is often performed through a wise-pattern, or "anchor" incision. This is an incision around the areaola, a vertical incision down the center of the breast and a horizontal incision at the base of the breast in the inframmary fold.
This is a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by insurance.
